Outing – “Serra dos Alves”

Pé no Chão Group had planned a camp on June 15-18 (2017). But the event had to be canceled. So why not take a ride to somewhere special and enjoy to celebrate the birthday of friend Edson, a veteran with his youth preserved? The idea was approved and on the 15th (holiday in Brazil) we went to Serra dos Alves, in the municipality of Itabira. There we split into two groups. One group decided to explore the beautiful rapids of the Tanque River, have a picnic and sing parabens for Edson. The other group, more excited to sweat the body, made a trekking to the top of Serra do Alves, a place of privileged beauty. I decided to explore the beautiful place where the River Tanque runs fast through rocks until forming a waterfall surrounded by a dense forest. I was determined to improve on the use of the tripod, which is impossible to do in trekking. It was a great day of celebration of friendship and respect for nature.

Below, some photos that I selected for this post.
